BeatLens – Analyze your music  ·  Last updated: June 24, 2026

✓ No personal data collected

BeatLens ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed by ZweeLab. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights as a user. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

BeatLens does not collect, store, or transmit:

2. On-Device Processing

All audio analysis performed by BeatLens — including key detection, BPM analysis, structure segmentation, and instrument activity — runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device machine learning frameworks. Your audio files are never uploaded to any server, never shared with third parties, and never leave your device.

3. Audio File Access

BeatLens requests access to audio files only when you explicitly choose to import them via the system file picker. The app uses iOS security-scoped bookmarks to remember file references across sessions. These references are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted externally.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

BeatLens offers optional in-app subscriptions (BeatLens Pro) processed through Apple's App Store and managed via RevenueCat. We do not see or store your payment information. Purchase history and subscription status are managed by Apple and RevenueCat according to their respective privacy policies:

RevenueCat may collect anonymous identifiers to validate subscription status. No personally identifiable information is shared with RevenueCat.

5. App Store and Analytics

Apple may collect aggregated, anonymized analytics about app usage through the App Store (such as crash reports and performance data) under Apple's own privacy policy. BeatLens does not use any third-party analytics SDKs.

6. Children's Privacy

BeatLens is rated 4+ and is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

7. Data Retention

All data created by BeatLens (track analysis results, playback preferences) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. You can delete all app data at any time by removing the app from your device.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
